Eating Out by Yobe

Grandpa’s birthday Dinner
Grandpa’s birthday Dinner    By Yobe Mak
Dear Boris,
How are you? Long time no see you! I wish you can eat dinner with us.
Last Sunday was Grandpa’s 70th birthday! Grand ma took us to a colourful Sea Food Restaurant in Causeway Bay which serves a lot of delicious sea food from Japan. Hoven was excited because he liked to eat sea food very much.
When we went in, there were many people and it was noisy because people were talking and talking. The people sat around the restaurant. We were glad because we had a reservation, so we did not wait for a long time. Then, a kind waiter showed us our table and we sat beside the colourful table. Grandpa was glad because the table number was 29. It was Grandpa’s birthday date. Everybody laughed.
It was time for starters. Mum, Grandma and Grandpa chose a spicy lobster soup. The lobster were very spicy. Hoven and I wanted to try sweet oysters because we love oysters very much. The oysters were juicy. Then, it was time for main course. Grandma and Grandpa ordered fried crabs. The crabs were hot and tasty. Hoven, mum and I had fried shrimps because it was easy to open the shrimps. The shrimps were fresh. Finally, it was time for delish dessert Grandma and Grandpa shared a smooth cheesecake. Hoven, mum and I chose flavourful ice-cream instead of the cheesecake. Then, I gave Grandpa his birthday present. He was delighted when he saw what it was ---a birthday card. I wrote “Happy Birthday Grandpa. Wish you happy every day.” When he read it he felt it was lovely.
I really hope you can come to Grandma’s birthday dinner on 22nd November,2012 and enjoy the tasty food together. I think you will love it.

Love,
Yobe
