Eating Out by David

Dear Sam Wong,

    How are you? It was nice to meet you at school last week.

    Last week was my sister’s 12 years old birthday. Dad and Mum chose to take us to a yummy restaurant in Siu Sai Wan which serves a lot of food from China. When we came there, a waiter talked to us politely about where was the table from and gave us some menu to choose the food from.

    I ordered a plate of yummy fried rice because I liked to eat fried rice very much. It just looked like gold and it had some fresh vegetables and some sweet pineapples on it. My Dad and Mum also a ordered a bowl of meat porridge because they did not want to use too much money. It had some minced beef and they said it was salty. My two brother shared a bowl of tomato soup because they liked tomato very much . My sister tried a plate of tomato sauce udon noodles. I think the tomato sauce udon noodles that my sister chose was more yummy than my dish because it had more yummy food on it like fish ball with some salad and some juicy tomato…

Then, it was time for dessert. Mum and I chose a delicious apple juice with fruit. It had some apples , some mangoes and some oranges on it. It was very cool.Dad and sister shared a fruit jelly. It was very sweet. My two brothers chose some dim sum to eat. They chose lots of dumplings because they like to eat. After Mum had paid the bill at the cashier. We ate a beautiful fruit birthday cake and sang a birthday song to my sister. My sister was very happy because this was the first time to celebrate her birthday in the restaurant. We were all full and happy.
