Eating Out

Dear Aunt Mary,

   Last Sunday, Tom, mum, dad and I went to the Seafood Chinese restaurant in Causeway Bay because it was my Aunt’s birthday. I enjoy it very much because I could eat many yummy foods in there.

   There were many beautiful lights everywhere and there were many Chinese people who came to this Chinese restaurant. The waiter who wore blue clothes showed us to our three tables, but we waited by the door on the chairs. A polite waiter gave us some colourful menus. There were many people talking and pretty decorations. We sang a birthday song to my aunt, gave the present to her – it was some beautiful clothes, said birthday wishes to her and played games. We played chess and felt very glad after eating.

   Tom wanted to eat hot fried rice with vegetables. It was very yummy and tasty. My dad chose the fresh and delish. The seafood included shrimps and a crab. My mum ordered big fish and many small dim sum because it was very fresh and rare. I tried to eat special food, so I carefully chose a plate of fried noodles with small shrimps and chicken wings because it was very spicy, crispy and yummy. We ate until we were full, bloated and stuffed but Tom said, “I am not full from the food!’’ We felt very excited and delighted in this beautiful and joyful day. We drank coke, sour lemon juice and tea.

   This day, I felt very excited and glad because we played games and gave the present to my aunt. Aunt Mary enjoyed this day because I saw my aunt ate many foods in there. I hope my aunt enjoyed this birthday.
