Eating Out by Hitomi

Dear Cousin Karen,

  How are you? I really miss you.

  Last March is my 9^th birthday! Uncle Ron took us to Genki Sushi in Siu Sai Wan Island Resort. When we got there, a friendly water said, “Welcome!”to us and a gentle waitress gave us some menu. The restaurant was very crowded. We had to wait for one hour. I saw many people. They were happily eating their meals. We sat beside the sushi, the sushi will moves around the table. I heard many waiters and waitresses taking to people.

  My brother Marco, Jeff and I chose the thick jade burning sub-sushi because egg flavor is very strong and it is our favorite. The jade seed is very sweet. And we also chose the prawn roll because it has a whole crispy fried skin, so we ordered a lot of thick jade burning sub-sushi and prawn roll because they were very yummy. My uncle chose the salmon belly sushi because the fish taste strong and delicious, the whole mouth was full of fish oil. My mum chose the halibut sushi because its texture was smooth, this fish was very delicious. My grandma chose the sword belly sushi texture was tender.

  We also ate sweet scallops, crispy shrimps sushi, plump salmon sashimi and the tasty tuna sashimi. My favorite sushi was the crunchy tempura shrimp sushi, the umami double crab meat sushi and the tasty sunburn grilled salmon sushi.

  Then, it was time for yummy dessert. Everyone had a warm green tea to drink. My brother Marco, Jeff and I had the sweet Japanese cheesecake and Japanese Puff too because it was very smooth and sweet. Mum had

the brown sugar chocolate cake and my uncle had the sweet potato cake, it looked juicy. After uncle had paid the bill at the cashier, they gave me a birthday present. I was very glad and surprised, because my birthday present was a cute bear and a beautiful minnie-mouse watch. I liked it very much and I said thank you to them.

   I really hope you can go to my home to visit us, so we can go to eat the yummy sushi with you! I think you will love it!
